Indesit dishwashers generally sit towards the cheaper end of the dishwasher market, with prices ranging from as low as £170 upwards on their more affordable models. Their main competitors in this area are Hotpoint and Bosch, two larger and probably better known firms. However that is not to say that buying an Indesit dishwasher is a poor choice. Indesit has been on the block for a long time and they certainly have a lot to offer. They are known for cheap affordable, no thrills products based more on functionality and purpose than being beset with more advanced features as found on Miele or other vastly more expensive brands, and offer a viable alternative for those unimpressed by Hotpoint or Bosch products.
Like other leading brands in the affordable dishwasher category, Indesit recognise that choice is important. Whilst not having the extensive range of styles and colours offered by brands such as Hotpoint, they still offer a multitude of dishwashers most of which can be bought for a more than reasonable price. It is often said that quality is more important than quantity, but if you’re going towards the low – mid range pricing category then quantity, and more importantly a wide choice, is certainly very important.
One impressive feature of all Indesit dishwasher models is that they all hit the ‘triple A’ class in terms of energy, washing efficiency and drying. Not only is this important for the environment, but it will also end up saving the consumer money in the long run – an added bonus to the already relatively cheap products on offer from Indesit. There are various washing programmes available depending on the model, but these are all fairly standard on most dishwasher brands.
When you choose an Indesit dishwasher you know what you are getting. An affordable, functional product that should lead you in good stead for several years before you might consider upgrading to a more advanced brand.
