Maytag Dishwasher Review

Maytag produce a small number of exceptional dishwashers. They are high-end, technologically advanced products with a simple, subtle and smart design suitable for any kitchen no matter how sophisticated it may be.

Maytag are clearly targeting the upper end of the market: customers who are getting rid of their older, cheaper brand and looking to move towards a dishwasher more complete, energy efficient and smart, with all the latest features to boot. Maytag dishwashers have exceptional build quality, which means that even though you may be splashing out for what many consider being an ordinary, unremarkable kitchen appliance in a dishwasher, you can be sure that it will prove good value for money in the long term as it will last for many years or regular use.

All of Maytag’s ‘Vara’ range of dishwashers has the triple A rating for the lowest use of water and energy – again, this is where the quality of the Maytag product proves to be good value for money as you will be saving money on water and electricity when using a Maytag over most other brands. The Vara range offers only four different dishwashers, all of which are very spacious (all of the Vara range models are 56cm high rather than the standard 52cm), smart and well finished.

It is clear that a lot of effort has gone into the detail of their products - clearly a lot of research into customer preferences has taken place at Maytag. The Vara range also features LCD controls on the door edges as standard, displaying the time until completion and the various cycle choices and types available.

Overall buying a Maytag dishwasher represents a considerable investment. However it can be an easy choice because you can rest assured that you are not only buying a top of the range product, you are buying a top of the range product that will last.
